Only in the last few years have cameras been freed of their usual constraints.  Drones are a unique camera platform utilize many other technologies such as GPS, Gyro stabilizers, and long range wireless transmitters to enable never before seen perspectives.  This "aerial perspective" gives new meaning to many of the activities that people have created to explore the planet earth. Free to move like the imagination we can see both the vast expanse of the highliners surroundings and the close up of his personal experience as played out across his face.  This fluid perspective is critical to storytelling in the outdoors.

Over the past year, I have worked with Falkor Aerials based in Boulder Colorado.  We operate several heavy lift octocopters capable of carrying today's high-end cinema cameras like the Red Epic, Sony FS7 and others. Check out www.falkoraerials.com for your aerial photography needs.
